Sources & Resources for Wonder Rotunda Learning Adventures
The following is a list of the sources and resources used in creating
the adventures of the Wonder Rotunda. A wide variety of books, websites
and official government sources were used to develop the scripts. The
Serengeti, Great Barrier Reef, Kangaroo Island and Rain Forest
adventures were based at least in part on personal visits and
information supplied by on location park rangers and guides. Government
archived material from the Apollo program were invaluable in writing
the script for the Apollo 11 adventure.
Also see our listing of
Museums and Places To Visit with Kids which can be used to further discover topics explored at the Wonder Rotunda.

We
used the official NASA website to help prepare this information. In
particular we used the official press kit, transcripts, journals and
flight logs from the Apollo 11 Mission, which are all available on the
NASA website. NASA materials on the web about the planets, space
exploration missions, comets, asteroids, the Milky Way Galaxy and the
Universe were a primary resource for the information provided here on
these topics. NASA’s website is a wonderful place to learn more about
space and space exploration.
